"In my retirement arc", or however the hell Amber put it.

My name, depending on the day, is either Ava or Avalon. This is a matter of gender expression rather than different facets of the self. If I am proxying as Ava, my pronouns are she/her. If Avalon, then he/him. If I am not around, use either set.

I am our primary caretaker. I began as a persecutor and a gatekeeper; 'Persecutor' is something I outgrew with time, 'Gatekeeper' is something I relinquished by choice.

It is one of the best choices I have made.

Also on the list of best choices I have ever made is pursuing a relationship with my lovely spouse Vi of the Garden system.

I have been here most of our life, and have been known to some about as long, but I did not make myself known or front much until the beginning of 2024.

Sometime in May 2024, me and a friend went to a diner called "Crack'd cafe" together. It specialized in dishes made from eggs. I was asked my name when I ordered coffee and I panicked and blurted out 'Ava', and this is what made me realize I may in fact not be cis. I wish I could make this up. You will never have a funnier egg cracking story than me.

Cassie, Amber, Rin, and Eve are all my daughters. Laika is.. certainly someone in the realm of non-platonic to me.

Some music artists I am fond of are Sufjan Stevens, Lord Huron, Florence + The Machine, Deftones, MISSIO, Unlike Pluto, and 8 Graves.

I have a fondness for Christianity. Do not mistake me for a Christian; My gods are many. But I was raised in it, and its architecture and its place in history- however painful- are things I hold close to me in the way one will always carry with them a piece of their childhood home.

Other things I enjoy are my spiritual endeavors, calligraphy, psychological horror, writing, the outdoors, and peace and quiet.
